Well, the fact that they waaaay lead the league statistically at their position should be a big plus. But we all know how effed up and random EA's logic can be. I've heard of cases where the guy had 25 sacks to lead the league and got zero progression. I kinda expect some progression disappointment. Also, the way they calculate playoff tiebreakers is sure to piss some people off. That includes seeding and homegirls advantage.
Last season Mark Clayton was #1 in touchdowns and really high in yards as well. I actually believe he lead the league in yards. He went up 2 points.
That's why you just win all your games, surely EA won't be able to mess that up? Well I better not say that. Though I do wonder if a 6 seed wins Wildcard weekend if they play the 1 seed the next week or the 2. Bracket is set up to play 2, but actual NFL would send them to the 1 seed. Little bit I read it seems the brackets are static and the 6 plays the 2. I only played the last five games of season one so not sure what stats all my players had, but I think MJD was second in yards and went up one point. I expect for some of the progression/regression to not make any sense. Guess age and potential rating gets thrown in the equation as well, wish we knew the exact way progression worked.
Oh my goodness, did I actually say "Homegirls" advantage instead of "Homefield"?? And two people replied withyout noticing. Hilarious. wtf IS homegirl advantage??
I noticed. I just thought it was another insult from the Vikings FO directed towards the great Jacksonville Jaguar franchise.
Falcons send to Titans CB Chris Houston RE Lawrence Sidbury QB Derrick Anderson Titans send to Falcons QB Dane Morrow CB E.J. Biggers
Secondary got two upgrades in a short time. Now the big question everyone in Tennessee wants to know, who's going be the starting QB for the Titans in their first playoff game?
I think to a degree there will be a natural transient nature to this league. Every year a few may leave a few may join. Anybody that's new and joins picking up a team that's already been modified will just have to have the "buyer beware" mentality going in because picking up the Steelers without big Ben could change the approach to which team they choose.
Well folks I have deliberated and have decided to stay in the league. I felt that there is still work to be done and I don't want to abandon my team. Also I think Barry would miss me too much. With that said however I'm going to have to be less bi-polar in my games. When I win I'm all super happy and when I lose I'm like a depressed gallon ice cream eating woman.
So who are you willing to trade? Interested in draft picks? Tank is beginning to clear, the water still has a slight cloud to it from the sand settling. have some live rock and a couple of cheap fish to get the cycle started. Ammonia is beginning to climb, have to retest in the morning
I haven't come up with a true list yet, but right now Mike Vrabel and Tyler Thigpen I'm shopping. Who are you interested in?
I'll take a look at your roster tonight and see who interests me. Vrabel might be on that shortlist but due to age doesn't have high value to me, what type of pick would you want for him?
Oh well, Tribow is the future for now. Glad you're staying. I'm going switch to Oakland next season so I can join you guys on all the fun; AFC West the best division in 2011! Just kidding...
LAST CHANCE to pick up a young, high-potential cornerback with 93 zone coverage! I'm about to close a deal for Asher Allen, a young (22 year old) CB with B potential. He has a 75 Ovr rating and 93 zone coverage. AMAZING for zone coverage pass defenses. He has a pick six this year already. I am about to trade him to another team but want to see if there is a better offer out there, so if you could use this kid in the playoffs, make an offer!!! Also, he should progress to about 80 overall next year since he is very young with B potential!!! Let me know before I close the deal! Otherwise, that GM gets to have him for pretty cheap, imo.
TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT The Vikings send CB Asher Allen, DT Sammie Lee Hill and RB Chester Taylor to the Atlanta Falcons for DT Peria Jerry

ROTO Wire Reports: An agreement has been made between the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons today. Pending a physical and after the Superbowl the trade should complete prior to the 2010 NFL THEPHINS Draft. Trade: Bears and Falcons Bears receive Feazell (LOLB) Falcons receive DJ Moore (CB)
It was a long week of discussions, but glad we got it done. Are our rosters still frozen, as we're non-playof teams? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I believ we can still negotiate and confirm trades between NON-playoff teams, but not move any players until the Superbowl is done. So you gave up a B potential guy for a C potential guy? Hm. By the way, you get my text, Joe?
Ok guys I have a first round from the Cards and a 2nd from Seattle... Anyone interested? I'm looking for a DE, DT
The Cleveland Browns are willing to make any and all moves necessary to acquire some bodies or even a few extra top round draft picks. I have DL available, CBs, and some LBs from D side, RBs, WRs, TE from O side that can find their way to the block, also. Then again, could just sit tight and use my multiple draft picks to fill in the few remaining holes that kept me from advancing further in the post season. At first blush this would be the list that Mgmt would be open to move: (Others are also possible if you see someone on the Roster that interests you, but right now I dont see it happening) Offense: James Davis (RB) Justin Forsett (RB) Devin Moore (RB) Floyd Womack (OG) Martin Rucker (TE) Matt Timothy (TE) Darius Reynaud (WR) Brian Robiskie (WR) Defense: Justin King (CB) Davarius Tanelus (CB) Jason Allen (CB/S) Nick Hayden (DT) Kenyon Coleman (DE) Leon Williams (LB) Khambrel Grant (LB) Brodney Pool (S) Special Teams Phil Dawson (K)
Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons announce trade: Atlanta Falcons trade rights of Arizona Cardinals' 1st Rd pick; Seattle Seahawks' 2nd Rd pick; along with Atlanta's 4th & 5th Rd picks; and Steve Breaston (WR) to Cleveland Browns for Shaun Rogers (DT); D'Qwell Jackson (MLB); Corey Williams (DE) and Mohamed Massaquoi (WR)
Anyone interested in these guys let me know M. Peterson OLB (80), Chester Taylor RB (76), Edge RB (82), Robert Royal TE 75, Crumpler TE 77, Justin Griffith (77) FB. Looking for anything even draft picks.
