I've never been real high on Jeremy Williams (Tulane), but he looks pretty good today. He's done good all round imo (catching, creating separation, blocking, etc).
The system at Cincinnati does cover up their quarterbacks but I do think Pike has some talent to work with. I don't think he's a quality starter in the league though. Did you watch him earlier this year against Nevada? Nevada had a 2x1 receiver set and the lone receiver on the wing was covered by Sean. They trust him and for good reason IMO. I'm not watching this game, will do so later, but Iupati is pretty damn good. However, his downfall is his technique and he doesn't lock out his elbows. LeFevour's not very good IMO. He's not better than Thigpen IMO.
He's kind of a jack of all trades and has had some durability issues, which is why he's graded as a 4th to 5th by some teams I believe. I like him in that area.
Ok, I consider "later rounds" to be 5-7 personally. I'm not saying Tate will go before rd 3, but I'd be happy if he was our 3rd round pick (depending on who's there and who we take in 1 and 2).
God I wish laFell would've played in this game, not that the QB situation would've helped him here (but time with the staff would've been great).
Which is where I would draft him. I have a 5th round grade on him personally. But 4th is the absolute highest I would draft him, 3rd not a chance.
didnt see that game but ive seen three or four games this year with him and he is great in coverage. would solve our TE problems Lefevour is definitely better than Thigpen IMO but only becuase Thigpen seems to be a turnover machine. If Thigpen could reign in his interception tendencies he could be pretty good
Yeah, he's pretty damn disciplined. Thing is, Missouri ran a pure zone so he wasn't asked to turn and run a lot. When he was, he did pretty well. I disagree. Decision making may not be Thigpen's strong suit but in terms of release, footwork, and accuracy, I think he's ahead of LeFevour.
Ok, that pass to Dickerson just put to rest one of the questions I had about LaFevour. I wasn't sure he could throw it that far on a rope.
Yeah, I agree. However, LeFevour's decision making is not the best either. You seen him under pressure?
think its better than thigpen already and thiggy has been a pro for three years. i'm not sure lefevour can transition to starter in the nfl but he'll make a good backup. if thiggy cant reign in his interception problem soon he's going to have a tough time sticking in this league
To each their own. I don't see anything special in LeFevour and I don't see him as a better option than Thigpen. JMO though.
