The competition looks to be fierce.
Looks like the Colts want in on this. Makes me upset because they just enjoyed all those years of Peyton Manning!
Man I don't see us being worse than a few teams. The Jags, the Colts and especially the Chiefs and Seahawks. We aren't good, but we aren't at THAT level of bad.
The Jags are better than they are showing, imo. Why don't they play Garrard? They did so many questionable things lately, I suspect they are tanking haha.
I'm in for the Andrew Luck sweepstakes as long the owner realize he needs to dump the GM and head coach.

They really aren't, I think. Garrard is a rookie and probably one that needs to sit for awhile - he did not look great in preseason and don't want to throw him to the wolves with no help on offense. And that still leaves the other teams, who are clearly worse.
The Chiefs lost their best 2 players, one on each side of the ball. If they can recover from that I will be stunned.
Andrew Luck has silenced any doubters recently. Losing some key pieces around him, and staff, and Luck is still going out there and picking defenses apart with his eye and his arm.
SUCK FOR LUCK 2012 MIAMI DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to laugh at this but a part of me fears this coming true. Sparano and co. taking another lineman in the 1st.
*shudders*
*Shaking my head*
First of all, Henne has played well enough not to have some campaign for a quarterback in next year's draft.
Secondly, if there is a quarterback out there you want drafted, it isn't Andrew Luck...it's Landry Jones from OU.
No, Henne is not the answer. On most any other team, Henne is 2nd tier, 3rd tier. He's played better this season, yeah, but no. I've seen enough to know the guy is a career backup.
and Andrew Luck is a better overall player than Landry Jones. Plus Jones has better WR's and offensive line.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Our whole offense will improve with a legit QB who can read defenses quickly and pick them apart with precision passing..... Henne is not that guy. and I am sick and tired of going into every season and we struggle to score points. It's just bad.
Andrew Luck is as good of an QB prospect as there could possibly be. I look at teams like the Detroit Lions and others and it makes me sad. We've been in this hole for 11 years? We need to fix it already.
Ah yes, well that settles it then.
We've got a good shot if Vontae stays out of the lineup for a couple weeks and we have Nolan as an interim...It's gonna be tough for this team to lose on the road, though. I say we lost a little in the Burnett/Crowder swap from a "diagnosing plays" perspective.
That said, we were poised to take control of the game when Thomas fumbled; something we noticed right away when we watched K-State film on draft day.
ah, he was cut? damn.
competition is going to be fierce in the SUCK FOR LUCK 2012 campaign
Id rather go 2-14 and draft Luck, than have another 7-9 season and draft the third best DE.

Good to see forward thinking Fins fans!
We have much bigger needs than QB right now.
I'm not going to cheer for us to lose just so we can draft him.
With a losing season, it really pressure up Ross to make some moves. Hopefully, Ross sells the team.

We've got a decent O-Line, a RB that went for 100+ yards, an elite WR, and we still struggle to score touchdowns.
Replace Henne with Stafford, Newton, etc... and you would see a higher scoring Dolphin team, that would have won today.
This thread is ridiculous in every facet. I thought it might be sarcasm before I clicked it but I was wrong. This is an immature reaction, in my opinion, and forces the blame of our lousy start on the shoulders of our QB. A QB that gave his all in each of our first two games. This is not how you react to a player who has given his all to both his team and fans. "Suck for Luck"? NO, never will I ever contemplate throwing the season for the hope of landing a single player and placing our franchises future in his unproven hands. That is as illogical as this thread.

How about a right tackle. Would the best right tackle be good enough for you?
and we have no one on defense who can tackle.
And no TE.
This team has more deeper holes than a french whore.

No way. He'd take a drubbing on the selling price right now imo.
I care more about the Miami Dolphins and the fans than I do about Chad Henne's feelings. Yes, Henne has improved..... but he's not it.
Lame duck-status head coach and a lackluster GM.
Gets deeper.
I would love to see Luck in a Dolphins uniform. Unfortunately I think the Dolphins are probably going to win 4-5 games or possibly even 6. If they win even four games, this will probably be more games than one or two of the other teams. If one of those teams is the Panthers, maybe Miami could make a blockbuster trade to get the first draft pick. If it the Colts, Seahawks, Broncos, or any of the other bottom feeders looking for a QB. Miami will be out of Luck.
That has been Miami's problem for the last three years. They have won just enough to prevent them from getting an impact player in the draft, but they haven't won enough to rise above the level of being a mediocre team. I think they will have a top ten or possibly a top 5 or 6 pick in the next draft but, I think their chances of getting Luck will be slim and none. All that being stated. I will gladly join the," Suck for Luck", fan club.

It doesn't have to be throwing the season for a single player and putting the franchise on his shoulders. The #1 pick next year will probably be the highest valued pick in the past 20 years due to the intersection of having the highest rated passer of the past 15 years and the new salary restrictions on top picks. Andrew Luck will probably sign for 5 years $25MM. We will NOT make the playoffs. If we have the #1 overall pick it represents ENORMOUS value. You can take Luck or just trade for enough ammo to restock a team.
Would you rather go 6-10, miss the playoffs and get the 15th pick in the draft or 2-14 and have multiple 1st round picks for the next several drafts?

Nobody cares. Announcing it is so bush league.
