Tampa Adds Key Reserves
L to R: Hartsock, Pitts, Tollefson
After bringing in a number of high profile free agents early in the signing period, the Bucs haves shifted gears, making several key reserve signings.
On offense, the Bucs have continued to solidify their offensive line by signing Chester Pitts, formerly of the Houston Texans. With the line in flux, it is possible that Pitts may press for a starting position. At worst he provides veteran depth, having played both tackle and guard in his eight year career.
The Bucs also signed tight end Ben Hartsock. Hartsock is a former third round pick who is expected to primarily handle blocking duties from the tight end position, though he is underrated as a pass catcher as well.
Tampa Bay also quietly signed special teams standout Dave Tollefson to a deal reputedly worth the league minimum. Tollefson has been described as a "high motor guy" by coach Raheem Morris and is expected to give the Bucs more depth and energy at the defensive end position.
The Bears are happy to welcome RB Ryan Moats to compete for the backup spot behind Steven Jackson

The draft will round out the line.

We have also added another body to our already deep Offensive Line. Daryn Colledge (28) resigns with the Packers and will compete for the starting left guard spot.
The Packers continue to be big spenders in Free Agency with these signings cost just over 6 million.

The Steelers would like to welcome HB, Jerious Norwood. He's a guy that has shown when he gets the ball he can do big things with it. His career 5.3 yards per carry and 9.5 yards per catch echo that as does his production in the kick return game. We feel he will be an excellent compliment to Rashard Mendenhall.

The Seattle Seahawks have made several moves this free agency due to their significant amount of cap space. They've looked to shore up some of their needs by adding quality depth players as well as potential starters. The Seahawks signed OC Chris Spencer, OC Chris White, OG Cooper Carlisle, K Phil Dawson, FS James Butler, CB/S Mike Adams, FB Jeremi Johnson, DT's Chauncey Davis and Demetric Evans. Tampa Continues Offseason Makeover
L to R: Washington, Jones, Babin, Golston, Muir, McIntosh
Tampa Bay continued their offseason makeover on Satuday, signing veterans Kelly Washington, Brandon Jones, Jason Babin, Kedric Golston, Daniel Muir, and Damion McIntosh to contracts.
Washington and Jones provide veteren depth at the wide receiver position. Washington emereged after two quiet seasons in New England to emerge as as surprising receiving threat for the New England Patriots. Jones is attempting to rebound from a disappointing 2009 campaign in which he caught only one pass.
Jason Babin, Kedric Golston, and Daniel Muir are expected to be a large part of Tampa Bay's defensive line rotation. Babin will be playing for his 5th team in 6 years, but showed signs of improvement as a Philadelphia Eagle last year. Golston was a key reserve for the Washington Redskins last season, but has started 30 games in his 4 year NFL career. Muir most recently was a member of the Indianapolis Colts, starting 10 games in 2009.
Damion McIntosh is expected to play a reserve role, and has starting experience at both left and right tackle.
When asked about the double-barrelled approach to free agency, GM Vengeful Odin was surprisingly frank. "I like all these guys, but they should know this is a competition. I'll be pretty shocked if everyone we've signed today is on the active roster at the end of training camp."
The Packers would like to welcome DE Kevin Vickerson and Punter Brian Moorman.
