The WWE has a...sort of formula for when they have an amazing match on their hands. Whether it was HBK-Undertaker, Austin-Rock, Hogan-Warrior or most other huge matches. It typically involves a certain..."sheen" to the match. False finishes, multiple kick outs of the other one's finish and a storyline element that is pounded into our heads by the announcers. This...didn't have that. It had a certain amount grit to it. It is rare for a great match to happen inside the WWE umbrella that doesn't follow their own basic formula, and this is one of those rare matches. I can't gush on it enough.
