About damn time, I thought this would be a bigger deal after the head games the staff have been playing for the past couple weeks.

Who cares who starts? I'm more interested in who is going to get the most carries and playing time.

Sure hope he's not on the inactive list. -

Dolphin coaches have been mismanaging RBs for years. And that includes Philbin's handling of Reggie at times last season. Let's see if they can finally get it right. Make Miller the workhorse with Thomas only coming in when absolutely necessary.

I just dont see Miller as an everydown back .We may not have one on the team.I think it will be more of a RB by committee situation depending on down and distance.

The Dolphins coaches have specifically said they do not like the approach of having one guy take 1st/2nd down and another guy take 3rd downs. Several times.
They had to do it last year because they were forced into it by virtue of Reggie Bush being such a poor backfield blocker. It wasn't a matter of him not knowing the playbook or anything like that. He just sucked at it and always has. That's a huge part of the reason he's now in Detroit instead of Miami. They could have re-signed him easily and affordably. He wanted to come back. They moved on because they want complete backs. -
Well, Do Tell!!!!
Sorry! Resistance was futile!!! -

My guess is initially they'll give Lamar two series for every one series of Thomas and then they could look to expand the duties from there if he gets hot. Two-for-one rotation is fairly common. Philbin used it up in Green Bay with James Starks and Ryan Grant.
