Wow Ben Troupe was pretty decent, surprised he hasn't been signed.

Why not bring in Marvin Harrison as well what can it hurt?

 

We're fine at WR, none of the players that you listed (especially the highlighted ones) are better than what we currently have.

 

Why not put in Chris Clemons, I don't see anyone on that list as an improvement.

 

I think Harrison is an improvement.

 

These are all scrap heap players who, for the most part haven't ever lived up to hype (Troupe) or are now old and slow (Harrison, etc.).

I'd pass on all of them on all positions, especially WR and S. None of what we currently have on the roster is any worse than what's out there.

 

Harrison doesn't have a job because his knees are shot, he isn't a upgrade over what we have. I think you're overreacting a bit by scouring the FA heap, let the guys that we have do their job.

 

Aren't you the least bit concerned that evewn after Anthony Gonzalez went down the Colts still wouldn't re-sign Harrison?
No other teams have even given him time to showcase what. He has left...let's face it, he is D U N :yes:

 

Pennington wasn't looking for a job 3 weeks into the season, he was dumped because the Jets wanted Favre. Look at how that turned out for them.

 

I think the Colt's have depth and that is probably the main reason, they haven't seemed to miss a beat since he went down.

 

I haven't seen us throw slants or crossing patterns hardly at all this year. We've ran a lot of bubble screen stuff, but the other pass patterns I'm not seeing as much.

And if you think Harrison would be any better than Camarillo, you're crazy. His knees are more shot than Greg's.

Let's give Henne a week of first team practice before we go out and blow things up 3 weeks into the season.

 

That's the offense that we run because Penny is limited due to a weak arm. I expect to see a more open offense in the next game.

The only advantage I can see to bringing in Harrison would be to mentor the younger receivers. Unfortunately, that's never been something Marvin was known for.
