A few tweaks to the Challenger platform...and you have the car they SHOULD have made INSTEAD of the Challenger. The Chrysler 'Cuda concept.
sweet find!! Thanks!! Can't wait to drive one of those challengers when they get in stock at the dealership i worked at
I think you are right..because when I opened this thread and saw that car..I wanted to get to know myself a little better.
Same here, she would go for the Purple. I talked her into getting a Charger by showing her a pic of a purple one.
I always said that they should have made the 'Cuda instead of the Challenger. The Challenger was always the "little brother" to the 'Cuda anyway. And well...I'm a little biased towards the 'Cuda anyway. I know I've posted this before...but indulge me. I miss that F'in' car!!!!!
Very very impressive. Tell me, any chance this newbie comes out with the 440-6pack in it....just asking
I dont either right now, but by the time they come out my oldest will be away in college and I'll be looking for something.
And by the time they are available for the general public and affordable, your youngest will be through the 8 years of Medical School
This car would be a rocking choice. It's nice to see the throwback looks to the older muscle car designs. beats the hell out of the looks cars had in the 90's. Mustang LX anyone? The de-evolution of the design IMO gave Mustang it's balls back, and now we're seeing other manufacturers following suit.
Last scene in our wedding video...wave goodbye to everyone, climb into the car, MASSIVE tire-shredding burnout out of the reception hall parking lot.
Never would have thought 1997 viper would be #1 http://www.musclecargarage.com/50fastestmusclecars.html
Had a buddy in HS whos dad had one of those (think it was a 97 or 98) and never drove it. Such a fine piece of machinery to leave covered up in the dark. Before I bought my last car I considered the 97 SLP SS on the list. Decided against it after test driving one my buddy's gf had. She told me it broke down just as much as the Vettes with the LS1 engine
The LS1 that was in the camaro had a head recall back in 98 or so.as for the Vette,I've been around Vettes all my life and have never known of many problems with the LS1.I just sold an LS1 Vette motor, along with a bunch of other racing parts. Hot rodders love them.
Yeah I think 98 was the first year they put the LS1 in the Camaro. My cousin had really bad luck with the LS1 in his Vette. Must have been an isolated incident. Do you work on motors or just sell them?
I've been around hotrods and race cars all my life. Not really into selling them, just sometimes I get deals on parts from friends and family who want to trade them for work they need done. I always got a kick out of things that go fast. Basically, I just work on them for me and close friends and family. I've been a Bowtie fan for years, you just get more bang for the buck out of a small block Chevy than you do out of a Ford or Dodge, though you can make them go fast as well, it just costs more money.
Thats Cool bro. Ive always been slightly partial to Fords as I own a Mustang, but really like the Camaro as well. Any American Muscle really. If I ever won the lottery I always said Id learn to work on cars. Seems like a really fun hobby.
*Bump* Wanted to share this deal I found (mainly with Pagan). Im thinking about heading down to this dealership in the next couple months. They have a lot of Roush Mustangs in their inventory including a few newer GT500's 59,000 for the P-51. They were going at Auction for an insanely higher amount.
I saw a 30 minute program yesterday on Roush and they featured the factory where they build um.. John Roush said he had never seen an ugly Mustang.
Ive always liked Roush. His 'Stage 3' Stang has always been a favorite of mine. What network was that show on Marty?
