0 turnovers After giving the ball away 9 times in our last 2 games (2008 playoff lose to Baltimore), we had 0 turnovers. As bad as it was for Ginn, our D, there were some good things that happend. I also don't think we had too many penalties.
Good that we didn't turn the ball over, but the fact is that the margin of error is so small that we can't turn the ball over and win games. That's not really a good thing.
i really don't want to do this but my fingers just won't stop typing. Im glad we didn't give the ball away, but we still didn't get any either. 0 turnovers on defense so far.
Was it just me or did I see Bess have a lot of space to work with? It seemed to me a quick pass to Bess (yes I know, someone will point out the fact that Pennington is throwing) could have been a TD because they seemed to be a good 5-7 yards to the left of him and about 10 yards deep of him. We're playing a game of if's at this point though.
the good news is our owner just installed Catholic-like confessionals at the exits so the fans can have a more efficient way to cleanse themselves of their angst ("I want you to say 5 hail mary's, a couple of Ace Ventura's angelic 'alrighty thens', and for the love of God man, put some pants on").
So close to giving up a pick-6 at one point, though. Luckily the LB was thinking endzone before catch.
