Bill Muir, TB OL coach. BY FAR the leadig candidate. he is really close to signing with us, so ive heard. parcellls said his is the best OL coach he has caoched with. parcells brought him to the jets or pats (what ever team he coached last) then took him to TB when Parcells took the HC job in TB and backed out, and now parcells wants him in miami since his contract is up

I think it was yesterday when he resigned.

Muir, who worked closely with Parcells during his days with the Jets, decided Thursday to sign an extension with the Buccaneers, with whom his contract was set to expire. Incidentally, he has been with Tampa Bay since 2002 because the Buccaneers were wooing Parcells after firing Tony Dungy. Upon Muir's hiring, Parcells called him the best offensive line coach he had worked with. But Muir decided to focus on his situation with the Buccaneers instead of shifting to a new project in Miami.

Initially, it seemed possible Muir would hit the open market when the Buccaneers reportedly had an interest in former Nebraska coach Bill Callahan, whose expertise also is the offensive line. Such a move is no longer likely given Muir's latest decision

There is an OL coach that has Cowboy and Jet connections who may be available ......Tony Wise :lol:

TAMPA'S LINE IS AWFUL WHY IS THIS GUY THE LEAD CANDIDATE ?

how about the Pats, Colts, Packers OL coach? or Jags OL coach? or heck, Sparano can be OL coach if we find another HC candidate.

Cameron as OC is bad, but Sparano as OL coach is good? Don't buy it.

We cant just hire an OC coach off of someone unless they let us. I dont think Tony Sparano, a legitimate HC canidate is going to come to Miami to take what is in reality a demotion from what he does now in Dallas.

Well, we could rehire Houck, "but" Oline Coach is also a spot where a young Coach can be bumped up to, or start out at....
