saw this on Dolphins.com and thought it was cool. I always love players that are fans of a team, and becomes a player for that team. I always wonder what players thinks if they are a Huge fan of a team like the Dolphins, and gets drafted by the Jets, and have a great career on that team, they would have to be a Jet for the rest of their lives. Funny thread... lol... "oh-live-eee-aay" played 445 snaps (39%), and was rated the #34 overall DE in a 4-3. He dropped into coverage 54 times, with a good grade of +2.5. He played the run 102 times, with a good grade of +2.8. Vernon rushed the QB 289 times, with 3 sacks, 7 QB hits, and 11 hurries. His grade was a -6.1. He left a lot of plays on the field, but showed improvement over the season as a pass rusher. Reports are that, like JMartin, he worked his *** off during the off season... Looking for better things from him this season. Be nice to have him and Misi both able to give us more in QB pressures.
