well the newspaper pays them because their stories attract a lot of attention. Attention means readership/clicks for the website. More attention means more advertising dollars spent. So in a round about way, yes.

Stopped reading after I saw Greg Camarillo placed ahead of Lousaka Polite. Not that I ever read any of Omar's material in full to begin with. Usually reluctant to even give it a glance.
the only ranking i completely disagree with is polite, he should have been MUCH higher than 20. Im thinking like around 6-8.
