http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...5-reasons-the-parcells-era-failed-part-3.html
It's a good look at some reasons why this regime failed. There may be things you forgot. Anything people have to add?

The infighting has begun! So much for team unity. Seriously, how could anyone be wanting this team to win right now? I've never been more excited for an off-season...especially if we get that coveted #1 pick.

On the subject of Bush, and also Marshalls comments on the game plan vs the jets, neither of the players spoke with the media the other day, first time all season I believe.
As much as they preach unity the fact is the coaching staff doesn't seem to want to point anyone out so it has to happen behind closed doors at some point, though I'm a touched surpised that Bell would make it public. -
I honestly do not see us getting the #1 Pick as bad as we want it, and need it. I think we do no better than 2-3. Indy isn't going to win they just are not. I don't see a win on their schedule not one, and I swear im telling you now if the last game of the season is the Jets and Dolphins and the jets have been eliminated from Playoff contention or by losing they get an easier seed they will tank the game to screw us over. Rexx would absolutely do that to hurt this franchises changes of getting Luck for the next 15 years.
Somehow we will win 2-3 games this year its got to happen. The Colts owner has already stated that they would like to land LUCK and that it's a good time to lose.
Bush inst this teams problems. This coaching staff decided that they would put a round peg in a square hole. Bush is a complimentary back and they are using him wrong alot.
The offensive line is just plain garbage this year. Which is crazy as that is Tony's strong suit.. OUCH! -
But Yeremiah Bell turning on Reggie Bush sure is interesting.finyank13 likes this. -
I honestly think this is the week the dam cracks. I could see something along the lines of 30-6, where we just don't compete on any level.
And once that happens, the road to 0-16 is much clearer. Until I see Indy, and its veterand who are used to winning 10 plus games every year, simply fold against teams like Tenn and Jax, I believe they will get at least 2 victoriesgafinfan and Dolphins1Beatles like this. -
They're both right; the team stinks, top to bottom...but Reggie Bush is the poster boy for it.
And, yes...I told you so.Boik14, Coral Reefer and MonstBlitz like this. -
Wow, that Thermidor guy even goes so far as to say that Reggie's comments have "divided the locker room", and then he cites Tony McDaniel's agreement with Yeremiah Bell as well as Kevin Burnett's agreement with Reggie Bush.

I'm starting to wonder if having nothing to talk about during the lockout was not better than what we're going through. We have to be the most talked about team in the NFL and absolutely nothing is good.

Schmoolie is right. This team is ripe for getting blowed-out!
On the road against a Giants team that knows it needs wins to stay ahead of the Cowboys. And then there's always the Marc Columbo vs Justin Tuck/Osi Umenyora matchup. MATT MOORE MIGHT DIE!Boik14 and MikeHoncho like this. -

Reggie is only part of the problem. He would have his uses in this offense but he's been used incorrectly and the OL is not built for the style of offense he'd succeed in.
Seems the locker room is split between the oldtimers and the newbies. Regardless, it's not right for Bell to call out a specific player like that. Time to man up and do something about the TEAM stinking. -
One-hundred percent, no doubt whatsoever. Even from here, without the massive scouting resources at these morons' disposal—I would have done better.
And I would have signed anyone but Bush this offseason, just as I said before that draft that I wouldn't touch Bush nor Leinart until after the third round. Not bad for a lowly fan, compared to the football world in its entirety, which had those two top-10—some even top-3. -
There has been no team in the media more. -
Now that would be some fun.Boik14 likes this. -
WOOOOOW!!! @ Bell
This could get ugly -
-
Are there any leaders in that locker room? Being bad and losing is one thing, but I would find this unacceptable. Why doesn't Taylor tell them all to STFU?

Finally!
Need to check my emails to Omar, and see how many I got..... -
He pitches the occasional ***** fit, but that's about it. -
As for Bell, I can't remember him saying anything to anyone, until now. -
You could probably come up with a hundred reasons why this regime is terrible. The most amazing thing is that there were people stubbornly defending these clowns all the way up to September 12th. It was painfully obvious that they were destined for failure last last season.
-
Parcells has been gone for a season and a half and Omar is trying to lay fault at his feet that happened after he left the organization. Now, don't get me wrong, Parcells ****ed up. But you can't blame him for Dorrell being promoted to QB coach or for Tony firing the assistants or for Ireland not getting Soliai under a long term deal or for the misuse of Reggie Bush.
While Phil Merling has, for lack of a better term, busted during his NFL career people forget that when we took him at 32 it was considered a steal. Not really something that can be put on Parcells' shoulders.
Wholeheartedly agree that giving away guys like Satele, Roth and Ginn were bad moves by us
Correct me if I'm wrong but Smiley didn't have an injury history when he got here. And it's not like this team hasn't tried to upgrade the guard spot they just can't seem to find/develop the talent to do so.
The Jake Long/Matt Ryan debate isn't worth getting into again. And again, I ask, what competition were we supposed to bring in for Henne? There wasn't a lot of options out there this off-season and we can't just magically create them. Would we all be happier with Kyle Orton and an 0-6 team?
It was an okay list, I agree with a lot of the stuff, but then again a lot of the stuff is just stating facts of the past 4 years. Overall nothing new or interesting and I think a lot of his opinions are very flawed and misguided. -

Bell must be a slow. Right now, they do stink!
-
It's the NFL. -
Smiley had an injury history... -
Things could have been different if the Dolphins just drafted Aaron Rodgers...
-
YEs! Divide and conquer!

I knew trading Ted Ginn was a bad idea and releasing Matt Roth still baffles me.
