One Day As A Lion is Zack de la Rocha (formerly of Rage Against the Machine) and Jon Theodore (The Mars Volta)
Their album drops on the 22nd and the first track 'Wild International' is available on Myspace (link below)

Sounds pretty good so far. Kinda sounds like a few tracks off 'Battle of Los Angeles' and the Renegades album. What do you guys think?

i thought rage was getting back together?
-
Well, considering Tom Morello also has a side project now (acoustic stuff not very impressive) Im not sure if thats going to happen.
They did a few shows together but I think that band has seen its last days. -
Sucks. Well, I guess now we can look forward to this new project. And now you do what they told ya!
-
here you go...
'
but I agree with ya. -
Here Here brother :hi5:

So glad i saw rage at Vegoose in October. I missed Coachella as i broke my foot 3 days before flying.
I really hope they get back together, because as freestyle pointed out, can't ever get enough ratm.
the last rage song i listened too..
"there are some things you can't understand....how i could just kill a man" -
Anybody buy the album? I forgot about it with moving into a new place...
-
Cypress hill was at Vegoose too. Not performing the same stage but they were great too
-
Not yet, the song sounded a bit flat to me Hardkorex3, Morello's style just meshed better then "One day as a lion" (an old slogan BTW).
I'll check it out though, I've got some items to purchase on Amazon, if they have it I'll buy a copy. -

I heard their debut single on Blog Radio and liked it. I have high hopes for them.

I picked this up at Best Buy yesterday, it's a 5 song EP, so the going price was $8. I had zero expectations for it, but it's a decent enough listen. Some of the tracks get a little monotonous, and I'd prefer if De La Rocha didn't try to sing. Still, it's not bad. There's a lot worse music out there you could be listening to.HardKoreXXX likes this.

$8 you say? I might just give it a wirl. I wonder how much Itunes is selling it for? Anyway it has to be better than Tom Morello's side project.
-
I think iTunes has it for like $5 ... and yeah, it's better than Morello's side project. I do like the drumming in it more, after giving it another listen. It's a nice little EP.

Too bad Morello's not in that group.
