    Hello,

IMO, we will go WR and LB with our first and two second rounder.

So here is my player choice :

OLB : I would like to pick cushing, sintim or matthews with our first pick

WR : we go with our first second rounder here : and my choice is Kenny Britt or Brian Robiskie

    their stats :

    Britt : 6.4 215 lbs

    2007 62 receptions, 19,9 yard average, 8 TD
    2008 87 receptions, 15,8 av, 7 TD

    Robiskie : 6.3 200 lbs

    2007 : 55 receptions, 17 yards average, 11 TD
    2008 : 42 receptions, 12,7 average, 8 TD

MLB : we go with our 2eme second round pick

and my dream choice here is Jasper Brinkley

    his stats and bio

    2006 (before injury) : 107 tackles, 5 sacks
    2007 (injury)
    2008 : 65 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble

    bio resume :
All-conference and All-America linebacker candidate returns for his final season with the Gamecocks after receiving a medical redshirt for the 2007 season... held out of contact drills in the spring but looks to be 100 percent in the fall... possesses all the tools... is a tall linebacker with good size... an impact player and leader on the defense... was a first-team All-SEC performer as a junior in 2006 when he led the team with 107 tackles... started each of his first 17 games in a Gamecock uniform before being sidlined with a knee injury in 2007... led the team in tackles in nine of those 17 contests... has a twin brother, Casper, who completed his Carolina eligibility in 2007 and signed a free agent contract with the Carolina Panthers.

He's fully healthy now, and we must bet on him.

Brinkley is not worth a 2nd man.

Until the combine is over Jasper has anywhere from a late 4th to 6th round tag on him right now.

I do like Brinkley and think he will at least be on our draft board, just not that early.

Brinkley has been stuck in the 6-7th round range on nfldraftscout for a while now.

I share your enthusiasm about Brinkley bro, I really do. But he'll have to wow them with that size/speed combo at Indy or pro day, and eliminate any injury concerns to even squeak into the late 3rd.

For anyone that is interested, these are the kinds of little things that really endear me to a receiver.

Wait til you see what kind of hits he puts on wide receivers when he plays DB. He's played it on the last second plays of the half's once and I remember a big hit he put on Louisville player. He lit him up and then was asked about the hit and said "They're always hitting me and I've always wanted to hit 'em back." - paraphrasing of course.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Brinkley and hope we draft him, just not before rd 3. Rd 4/5 is probably where I would look at him.

Is nfldraftscout the site where you have to pay to their projections of where players will be drafted?

No. You have to pay for their in-depth analysis though.

Thats the first I saw of Britt, thats exactly the type of reciever we need. not sure about his catching, route running etc but i'm assuming its pretty good. I really like his intensity and size. We need a big WR like that. What round is he projecting at right now?

2nd round. Runs good routes, has good hands, physical player all-around and uses his upper body to create separation.

Britt is projected as a 2nd rounder as of right now before the combine. I like his size at 6'4" 215lbs and he does not let the ball get into his body. I have not seen enough tape of him to have an opinion on his route running skills or speed.

I will be interested in his speed at the combine, but just eyeballing it, for his size he plays fast enough for me to like him.

I think his routes are really good. Of the top WRs, I think Nicks, DWilliams, and Iglesias may be the only ones better as far as route running goes, and I say May. But that may just be my opinion. He is a really good route runner I think.

Britt is a very intriguing prospect. I wonder if he'll last until our 2b pick.

No way IMO. No way he even should last to our 2A pick. Honestly, I am not sure why he is not viewed as a 1st rounder. Maybe after the combine he will be.

I seen that too, and wonder if that is where they put him at the start of the '08 coming off his knee injury and have just never gotten around to updating his ranking up until now. The 7-FA draft projection sure seems a little odd to me.

I believe he was a 3-4 projection prior to the ending of the college football season.

There is obviously something to be said about a guy that lays out hits like the videos suggest. However, that means extremely little in and of itself. Poor character and/or work ethic guys will still go for those big hits when they know that the defender doesn't see it coming. What I am more interested in seeing are the every down plays where the guy has to block straight off the line . . . or the play where the defender sees the block coming. Those are the plays that really tell me something about a guy. They are what separate the Hines Wards from everybody else.
