Wow. Their redshirt freshman qb looks like the perfect fit for that offense. The rich get richer. **edit** Marcus Mariota 18-22 for 200 yards and 3 TDS in 1 and 1/2 quarters. He was 6-3 and ran a 4.48 coming out of high school. He looks bigger and faster now. Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk 2
Oregon, Alabama, Clemson, WVU, USC, OK all look solid.....some crazy offenses, with complimentary Defenses to boot.
Yes OK! but both maybe in the mix. In the end I am sure too, I think OK has the better overall squad, but will see.
We will see....just saying they will be in the mix, and I think as current #4 the ranking is deserving, time will tell on some of the longer shots. But we all know the rankings will go through major flux.....damn Oregon is crazy hard to stop. Stay healthy and they could continue to roll. How did they almost lose to UTEP 24-7???
Fellas, temper the enthusiasm, it was Arkansas State....I'd expect Oregon to roll them in the way they did. That said, Oregon's execution is damn near flawless even with backups in. They will certainly be a handful for ANY team left on their schedule.
USC is the only team capable of beating Oregon on their schedule. Stanford looked very suspect against San Jose State.
For me it was more about the throws and plays their QB made. That was supposed to be the question mark coming in, and he looked far better than what they have had in a while. Redshirt freshman too.
Only Alabama and Clemson played semi-quality opponents. You can take nothing from the Oregon, WVU, USC or Oklahoma wins.
its all about their schedule as a whole and who matches up with them each week, and what each brings to the table. All have powerful offenses, and injuries very well could be the factor for any slip ups.
Dont know, while it wasnt 60+, they still put up 24. time will tell, but going forward we can see how it shakes out.
Well, OK sure fixed whatever it was perceived by some that ailed them....but OK ST, ARK, WIS, and NEB what a shame.
FAMU is a pretty good cure to offensive woes. Don't even get me started on Nebraska. I may drive to Lincoln and teach some defenders how to base up and effin tackle. That said, kudos to UCLA, they made necessary adjustments and rattled the crap out of Taylor Martinez and turned him into a sniveling, indecisive little girl.
