If they don't sell out we get the fins. ** Both on Fox not sure how that works as far as selling out.
You wouldn't think it would be so hard to see the Phins play on tv in Central Florida.. but Jax really messes with the tv scheduling. GG
Yeah, you'd think Wayne has been compensated for this, or at least I hope he was, because a significant part of his fanbase has been taken away from him.
I have The Ticket but this year I am not sure it will help me, or anyone else in Miami that can't go to the games (I have a disability that doesn't let me attend anylonger). I believe there might be 3 home games on TV, and possibly only 2. (Jets & NE)
SWFL babyyyy. Dont have season tix. Dont have sunday ticket. All i have is good 'ol cable. And i watch every game :PP

a good amount of the revenue is shared....TV contracts are shared equally. So Wayne is getting his regardless of where the Dolphins are broadcast
True but there are revenues that are outside of the NFL Socialist Owner situation, and this I am positive is one of them. His territory was cut down from what it once was, and I would imagine he was compensated for that loss.
Damn, it looks like I'll be driving down to the keys a lot this season to get past the NFL local area blackout.
I used to have sunday ticket! I remember my dish going out every time we had more than a slight Drissle. Not to mention going two years without any network television! Personaly Direct Tv can take alll there ugly equipment and shove it you know where as far as I am concerned! I dont understand why the NFL doesnt allow cable and dish to carry the ticket? Just goes to show one more area they are all about the mighty DOLLAR and not really about the Fans!
Dont know how long it will last (as I am moving out of area sooner rather than later), BUT I am sure glad I dont live out of area anymore (lived in Tampa for 2 years). Boca Raton gets ALL games on Local channels for FREE. WOOT!!!!!!!!
Really, even the blacked out games? Boca is right about the same distance from me as Key Largo. I usually head to the Keys, but it is nice to know what the other options are...
No. The buck stops there (blacked out). If the games don't sell out, them I am screwed like everyone else in Miami. (unless of course you go to the game in person) So the schedule for me is the same as Miami viewers. If the game is on local TV in Miami then it will be on TV here no matter what. In order for me to catch it on TV if there isnt a sell out I'd have to pass West Palm .... Maybe someone who lives in Port St. Lucie can chime in...that should be 75 miles from the stadium yet not so far north that you get sucked into Jag territory.
I hear ya man. I used to live in Vero and sometimes had to drive to Jupiter to see some games. Now I'm in the mountains of North Georgia and have the Ticket and love it. The nearest sports bar that sells booze is overa n hour away.
