That hit yesterday, was so in character with a lot of dirty tactics Tomlin’s coached Steelers has done during his tenure. They teach that nonsense on that team. there needs to be suspensions when you clearly dive at any players knees. There was no other result expected from the way he torpedoed to Chubb’s legs. Just awful, dirty play. Possibly career ending for Chubb.

I just watched it for the first time. That was a dirty hit for a couple of reasons. First, Chubb was engaged and you NEVER go low on an engaged player. It's literally a penalty when two OL do it. Second, when you go low it will ALWAYS result in the player tumbling forward for 1-2 more yards and they were within the 5-yard line. That was wreckless as **** and he should be ashamed of himself for doing it.

Tomlin is trash and Fitzpatrick should be fined/suspended. Vertical Limit is right in that he probably ended a man's career.

Its an obvious dirty hit. Hope he gets suspended. Par for the course for the team as well, but its not just them it's a league problem as well because you can't hit high anymore either. There was no reason though for Fitzpatrick to have initiated contact where he did. Just ridiculous.

The NFL should follow the lead of other sports like Rugby and suspend players for dirty play, not issue fines.
There are plenty of players willing to dish out dirty hits as long as it gets a bit of praise from the coach. But if the coach has to do without players for multiple weeks due to dirty hits they’ll be a lot kore serious about coaching their players to stay clean.OwesOwn614, Fishhead and Tuanon4Life like this. -
