    ‘Fins day 3 picks are official.

    Round 6 pick 197;
    Elijah Higgens WR/TE Stanford

    Big athletic Wide Reciever in college. Sounds like Miami plans to convert him to Tight End. Project pick.

    Round 7 pick 238;
    Ryan Hayes OT Michigan

    2 year starter at Left Tackle for Michigan. Sounds like he excelled as more of a run blocker and projects as a guard at Pro level.

    You can't help but root for that kid Higgins. So humble, so grateful for the opportunity.

    Have you researched him at all? Does he have potential to block or will he be more of a Gisecki role?

    he will be Gesicki's role. He is a more willing blocker than Gesicki but you will not confuse him for a good blocker

    With a solid line, you don’t necessarily need a great blocking tight end, but our line is not what you could call solid. I believe the guy they picked up from Denver is known for his blocking, but not as a pass catcher.

    I have, He has the opposite athletic skillset of Gesicki..

    So he can actually get into athletic positions and create coordinated power to block, he has movement skills that will allow him to line up all over..

    No matter how hard or what coaches tried to do Gesicki was a very flawed athletically for the game of football.

    I don’t know if any of us can determine what kind of blocker he is or what he will become, he has the foundations and movement to be just fine in any role of blocking he can do
