They had better watch out. There's a loophole in the NFL rules that says if you charge people to watch practice then personnel from other teams can pay and watch just like anyone else. The team is not allowed to kick them out. It's a gray area saying that only season ticket holders can get in. It may mean that an advance scout from another team can just take $1000 of team money, buy season tickets to the Packers, and then watch practice and take notes. Teams spend hundreds of millions of dollars every year trying to beat one another, between paying for players, coaches, evaluators and others that make the operation run smoothly. Another $1000 when you might see something that gives you an advantage, is nothing.
Isnt there a waiting list for packers season tickets? Or was that some folklore story my dad used to tell me "son theres a longggg waiting list for packers season tickets.....people leave them to their families in their will and everything"
Waiting...list...? What is this concept you speak of? You mean you can't just call up 1-800-FINS-TIX and buy lower bowl season tickets in August?
I'm not sure you should get real gigged up about what Andy Cohen says. He's basically the Dolphins on-staff reporter.
I wasn't getting gigged up on some kind of football analysis. I was getting gigged up that our qb and new wr were working, throwing 100+ passes 3 times a week in April, and the quote from MIKE WALLACE about Tannehills deep ball. Soooo......
Just a random thought, I'm watching some old Egnew reps, the quickness he displayed in college and at the combine just doesn't match up with what I saw and what we say last hear in camp and preseason.. I think once the combine was over, which he probably trained for, he just let it go and got sloppy in his diet and in his workouts, I would bet he didnt do sh&$ for those 5 months, and that's why when I keyed on him I could recognize the p,Ayer, he was so lethargic and just slow, I couldn't believe it was the same guy..
i was speaking n relative terms, relative to college to what I saw did not add up, I remember being flabbergasted by how lethargic he was, then I saw his body a couple times and he went soft.so I'm thinking we might get at least a view of what we drafted this year.
I just never saw enough explosiveness in him in college to believe that he could be a special player at the next level. I saw a back-up level talent at the pro level in his college film at best. Even that gif that I've seen posted on this site as reason to hope does nothing for me. I see a player fight a bit before going down, but that says very little about him having transcendent talent to succeed at the next level. Posters here say "don't give up on him", but the problem was I never saw any reason to believe in him originally. Honestly, I have higher hopes for Clay (and my hopes there aren't real high). Now reportedly, he's flashed in practice so maybe there's something there, but I didn't see it in the college games I watched.
I feel the same about Jon Martin...Im not saying he looked special, I'm just saying that the contrast from his college reps was drastically different then what I saw last camp, and I believe I attribute that to slacking off after the combine..shoot Rafs, this position could of been settled last year if it was up to me, Dwayne Allen would look real nice in our new colors.
You mean that's not Tim Bowens Jr? If I were Vernon, I would find who posted that picture online and do very bad things to them... lol...
