I'm willing to bet that if we switched Sturgis and Dallas Thomas's positions, we'd get roughly the same result in terms of production from either position. And I'm also willing to bet we'd get at least one turkey sandwich in exchange for a package of both players; maybe not turkey on rye but close to it.

I never understood that signing to begin with. We already had Matt Moore and we should have traded up in the 4th round to draft Bryce Petty to groom for 2-3 years.
Freeman was a low risk signing. He was a guy who looked like a future star until drug use derailed him. If he beat his demons then you could end up with a really nice player. If he doesn't then you're out nothing more than a signing bonus (if there was one?) and few weeks salary. My guess is that we may end up signing Barkley from Philly. Early reports out of Philly are that that they expect Tebow to beat out Barkley for the third spot and that if it's even close that Barkley will be the odd man out. Reports from a year ago were that Lazor really liked Barkley and obviously he'd be pretty familiar with our O so that just seems like a nice fit.
Big shocker right here... This guys stinks. I wouldnt be surprised if he misses probably 3-5 extra points this year too.
