Is there anything else out there aside from the McKinnie trade that could help Miami?
I notice the Texans just released RB Cierre Wood, DE Sam Montgomery and OLB Willie Jefferson.
I'd be highly interested in Wood and Jefferson. Jefferson had a history of drug positives at Baylor, just as a FYI. But he's an extraordinary athlete for the position.

I just remembered who Sam Montomery is. Wow guy went from potential 1st round pick, to 3rd round pick, to cut.

8 days left in the trade window. If Ellerbe's injury is long term, might see a play for a 2 down backer to man the middle. How panicked will Jeff Ireland get knowing that if we don't make the playoffs he's likely history. 3 and 0... to 3 and 3 can test ones patience certainly.

what team could we dump Clabo on via trade?

Unless its a free agent, I'd just prefer JI not make anymore knee jerk trades.

How about something simple?
Re-sign Jorvorskie Lane or some other competent fullback who at the very least can be counted on to convert 3rd and inchesJimToss likes this. -

But two weeks ago grabbed Jordan Reed and now feel like a genius. Fred Davis was a healthy scratch this past game. He's had his chances. Not sure he's even worth the time at this point. Some people never get it. I think Fred Davis is one of those, but I could be wrong. -

I read on Twitter that all three Texans were cut because they broke team rules.

Trade Moore to the Rams for ... Jake Long! :shifty:

I'd love to add James Casey.
MLB could be a problem, Trusnik did okay, not great yesterday.
Other problem, and it's a large one all 3 units failed, coming off of a bye week. -
I thought the special teams were fine. They put us in position to win the game. Sure, our kicker missed one (a long one) but that happens. -
This is why Philbin MUST review how he is doing things because that team was unprepared to play Sunday
D gave up two long third down conversions and could not keep Buffalo from eating clock after the fumble
Offense could do nothing with the great field position Thigpen and Co gave it.
It was a mess.GreysonWinfield likes this. -
Jones is a rookie who made a mistake. Forgivable. What made it so bad was that Fields next kick was nowhere near as deep and they ended up getting the ball at midfield. Agree on the other points.
Also, listened to part of the Bills HC conference. He specifically mentioned that his offense couldn't get a rhythm going and only seemed to be able to convert 3rd downs. They converted almost 50% of their 3rd downs (47.3%) going 9 of 19... That really sucked as our D should have been blowing them up, but missed numerous tackles and allowed the Bills receivers to make down field plays. Inexcusable against a team as bad on offense as this and Dion Jordan STILL needs more playing time. The guy makes positive things happen. Get him on the field when it matters. -
Cierre wood would be a nice addition

None. Only Ireland trades draft picks for players that are washed up.

I think the Dolphins have the offensive talent. I do question how they are used. That falls on Sherman. And on Philbin as the head man. If I were Ross I would have questions along those lines. Talent plus coaching plus adjustments equal win vs. loss.

Don Jones did not miss a FG for example, Clabo did not allow several 3rd and Long conversions, this was systemic failure that I've not seen from a Philbin Coached team.
Shula would run these guys until they puked, and would have certainly benched or waived guys if he could find better replacements quickly. -
