June 1 cut:Fields(he is earning to much for havin such a bad year for his Standards),Ellerbe(wasn´t the Player we expcted),Wheeler)
cut also:Finnegan,Starks,Hartline...
After cuttin these players i have29,356,823$ cap room..
Remember we can look to restructure Wake or Wallace so we could easily get more 5Million more in Capspace

Just keep in mind thats also 5 players you have to replace. Even though those guys have been below expectations at least 4 of them (except Ellerbe) have been valuable contributors and will need starters to be drafted or signed to replace them. Thats really not a lot of space if youre planning on doing that via FA.

If we sign Lupati for 6 years 49.000.000$ with 20.000.000$ from That Guaranteed we have still about 21.000.000$ in Cap Space.

I'm surprised that as it stands today we are over the projected cap this coming year. I thought we had some space.
-
You guys who keep advocating for Wheeler being cut realize that we gain almost no cap space by doing so, right?

If I'm understanding the June 1 cuts correctly, we still are basically stuck with him.

In a post June 1 cut, the dead money would be cut between two years.
Half in 2015 and half in 2016. We'd wind up saving $2.3M or something like that this year. I forget the exact numbers off the top of my head, on my phone at the moment. -
-
Also Matt Moore leaving in free agency saves money. That guy the highest paid back up QB in the league. And other guys that won't be resigned by the team will create more cap.
-
Each team has the option to designate 2 players as June 1st cuts in March. If Ellerbe and Wheeler are designated according to OTC we would gain $11 450 000 in cap room, but would take a bigger hit of dead money the following offseason (one that you might be trying to fit in a new deal for Tannehill).
I got the team down to $30,708,823 in cap room with my cuts (not sure if OTC counts the $8 million in rollover we have coming or not).
We could get even nuttier if we were willing to pull the trigger on 2 players people would call me nuts to move on from (one due to age whose due to fall off a cliff at anytime and the other that I'm not sure he can regain his prior form and can get away with going cheaper at his position). That would get us to $45,046,823, but it would be ballsy and cause endless debate with those 2 that I shall not name. -
I remember we had SOOO much cap space two years ago, and now we're pretty much projected (for now) to be over the cap, with a carryover, and we still haven't resigned Tanny.
The only real way out of this is to have rookies and draft picks start producing. -

As for Wallace nothing is changing there. Your not getting away with asking a 10 TD guy to take a pay cut and you really don't want that contract pushed back further. -

Much as I dislike Jerrah, you have to give it to him...he has drafted well enough that his OL is one of, if not the best in the league... That is exactly what Ireland has done to us...now we HAVE to spend in FA while waiting for our younger guys to blossom (if they do)... It'll take 2-3 years to 'fix' this roster and get us back to being able to draft BPA instead of having to look at need at every draft slot...

Just a heads up, I don't believe Over the Cap is counting the 8 million Miami is going to rollover from 2013 in their calculations.

I am fundamentally opposed to pushing dead money into 2016 by doing "June 1st cuts" for this reason. We'll need to have that cap space for RT17's much bigger cap number, plus larger salaries for players like Lamar Miller and Oliver Vernon. -

They're both signed through 2015 yes. I was earlier referring to the fact that we'll need space for them in 2016.
