Obv not quite, but I like what Robinson brings to the table and he could be a nice option for a good price.
11 TDs in 2011 Incoming BM haters. Edit: In all honesty i'll take anything over what we have now. Anything is better than nothing. I hope we pick up atleast 2 decent pairs of hands though..... I'm not too familiar with him but seems okay stat wise, atleast last year. All depends on the $ I suppose
I like him, he would fit the WC really well and would still be cheaper than BM. I really hope we don't let Winston leave.... If we sign Winston, Robinson, Flynn, and Richard Marshall I would be ecstatic. If we also resign Langford I'll straight **** in my pants.
I like him but am wary of his injury history. Could do worse though. Have to see what kind of salary and bonus we'd be on the hook for before I make a determination
I'm just sad atm about trading Marshall I honestly like Robinson a lot but I'm like super against any more cowboys at this point
Fast guy who gets injured a whole bunch? Sounds like the perfect replacement for Marshall. Nothing against Robinson. I actually wouldn't mind him if we still HAD Marshall. But to think of him as a possible replacement...well, I don't want to give any Dolphins officials any ideas.
Much rather draft talent at the WR, TE, and RB position. It'll be cheaper and plenty of rookies can produce within their first year at those positions. Whereas, a lot of times it takes time for OL and DL to grow (same with DBs). Trade down in the 1st, get Alshon Jeffery and Tommy Streeter. Then, maybe Ladarius Green later in the draft. If we sign Flynn and Winston, that could be a solid, young offense built around Flynn. QB- Flynn RB- Bush, Thomas WR- Jeffery, Streeter, Bess, Hartline, Gates TE- Fasano, Green LT- Long LG- Incognito C- Pouncey RG- Carey RT- Winston plus Charles Clay, wherever he fits.
If the Phins draft Alshon Jeffery I begin my weekly letter writing campaign to Stephen Ross to fire Jeff Ireland. Maybe I should start anyway..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Slick and I have been on the same page on this. Swap 1sts with Pitt and bring in Wallace. Dude is a homerun hitter on the cheap. I mean 3 mil or 4 mil a yr would get him and Pitt is handcuffed due to cap.
We need a veteran stud free agent wideout regardless of who is tossing the ball this year. A rookie isnt going to cut it. If they are saying hey guys were rebuilding I think this fanbase will explode into full court negativity.
This...... Just breakdown what WR's are left.... Lloyd, Robinson, Manningham, Royal, Plax, Braylon......No to all except maybe Lloyd with the right QB.....i.e. Manning..... They wanna be bold? do this, but they wont.....cuz you know they arent bold just fuc$ing stupid.... --Flynn signs with Seattle, Cleveland bags T-Hill....which could open up Trent Richardson falling to Miami at 8....trade down acquiring a 2nd and more on top of whatever spot they trade into in the 1st round.... --Trade that 1st to Pitt for Mike Wallace....hopefully they arleady have Manning...and still have 2-2nd's and possibly 3-3rds...
The only way we get Barkley is if Flynn/Tannehill/Weeden/Manning are not on the roster i doubt we wait another year to get a QB here
Im skeptical about Laurent i mean he had what 1 good year?? and that was with an explosive offense with WRs Bryant/Austin(on/off) already there
I could see this happening if Miami doesnt get Manning....ESPECIALLY if he goes to Denver or Tenn.... you would have Seattle chomping at the bit for Flynn, Cleveland on T-Hill...Weeden doesnt make it out of the 1st IMO....some team will trade into the 1st to get him... It really is the Dolphin way to screw up as many options as possible....
Maybe we should fire MR Ross and Hire Dan Marino . ok that wasover the top yet maybe we the fans should be the owners of the dolphins. I want to reccomend that we move up for Blackmon bring back chambers and draft Weeden and then address the oline and dline. or draft Malcom Floyd and bring in wr bowman from arena League who has gotten his life together . or we should just bring in Terrell owens seeing as we have become a circus.
This makes little sense. The criticism of ex-Cowboys has to do with the perception that Ireland and Sparano were just grabbing players they were comfortable with rather than trusting their scouts more often. As Robinson was only a Cowboy this past season and has no ties to Ireland, your stance seems rather ridiculous.
looks like he's a jaguar now http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/14/jaguars-give-laurent-robinson-five-year-32-5-million-contract/
