Clayton is reporting that the court has granted the temp stay to owners, meaning they can go back to the lockout until the real stay is decided next week.

 

I thought the owners had a good chance at the temp stay. The court gave the players until 1:00 today to respond to the real stay, pending appeal, and the owners until Min at 10:00 for the owners to reply to the players response.

It didn't make any sense to deny the temp before hearing both sides on the real deal.


***Now, Clayton is saying the temp is not yet "technically granted" although both sides had told him they had heard it would be. This is frrakin ridiculous.

 

Yeah, Clayton was covering a bit by saying it's very likely to happen instead of it was a done deal 10 minutes earlier.

As I said, the temp does make sense to put things on hold until a decision next week.

 

Imagine rookies and players seeing the same stuff I just did, looking for a place to hide the playbooks they just got, and asking coaches to TALK FASTER. LOL
