New Packers GM PSG has always preferred the 4-3 and feels the pieces are "mostly" in place for the switch. One of those pieces that might not fit is LB Clay Matthews, who is more suited to play in a 3-4. It may not be out of the question to think the Packers could look to make a big splash and trade Mathews for a couple pieces that better fit the change. If the Packers do decide to deal Matthews, there won't be a shortage of teams looking to acquire his services.
Wow, they would be crazy to trade Clay Matthews IMO. I can't imagine them actually doing that.. I don't think he is as old as Kampman was when they were fine with letting him go. I think he could be used similar to Von Miller in a 4-3.
We all do crazy things. Last year I traded Harrison and Timmons...it turned out fine. This is about how we would build teams...some people live and learn others know exactly what theyre doing and PSG is one of the better ones
