Packers: Packers could draft quarterback The News Mike McCarthy acknowledged that rather than bringing in an aging veteran to backup Aaron Rodgers, he could acquire his backup through the draft, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I'm not opposed to it," McCarthy said. "To me, it's experience or talent. I've always developed quarterbacks leaning toward the talent. Youth has never scared me away." Our View The Packers have a pick at the end of the first round (No. 30) and a pair of seconds (Nos. 56 and 60) with which to consider a quarterback and they could come away with someone to both back up and challenge Rodgers. Some of the candidates are Brian Brohm, Joe Flacco, Chad Henne, John David Booty and Andre Woodson. http://www.fanballnews.com/nfl/
Well they could get Brohm at 30 but do they want to waste the pick when its pretty much a given Rodgers will start. They might go with a QB late 2nd, or 3rd.
