"Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion during overtime against the Redskins, headlining a long list of Packers injuries. Besides Rodgers, TE Jermichael Finley (knee), DE Ryan Pickett (ankle), TE Donald Lee (shoulder), S Derrick Martin (sprained knee) and OLB Clay Matthews (left hamstring cramp) were all sidelined. The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported Finley will have further testing on Monday. Pickett said X-rays on his ankle were negative, reports Greg. A. Bedard."
Screw that whole "I want to beat em at full-strength garbage". WE NEED A WIN!

I watched the game today, or most of it and I found it odd that Matthews had a cramp, yet was walking fine, sitting down easily and yet couldn't get back into the game. It seems as though the Packers would rather not say that he's a tweak or pull etc.
I don't recall the Packers taking him back for an IV either.
If the Packers don't have Rodgers they are trouble offensively. I don't think Mike Flynn has much experience IIRC.dolfan7171, , Frumundah Finnatic and 1 other person like this. -
They are all messed up now (just like we've been in the past) and I'll take any kind of win we can get.
3-2 is 3-2...
...not 3(but they played an injured team)-2 -
They are banged up and if anyone needs a few breaks its us.
Although I do feel bad for Rodgers. -
The Packers will really test our LB's both in and out of coverage. Aaron Rodgers scrambles around like a mad man and does a very good Steve Young imitation. I love "ball on the hip" play action QB's because they are so dangerous and can move the ball with either their feet or their arm at will.
From a defensive point of view aggressive penetration could be used against us for big gains (screen plays etc..) by this type of an offense so containment and proper use of our safeties will be the key to beating this team. The good news is that they got emotionally and physically beat up today. Here's yet another link of the Packers injury issues.

Another thing that I like about the Packers offense is that rapid tempo that they possess. They use the "2 second 4 second rule" to perfection. (in 2 seconds the runner must be in the hole and in 4 seconds the pass must be in the air) We should have no problem with this team as long as we don't over penetrate or get exhausted by their rapid offense. With our team coming off a bye week and the packers being beat to hell we should have a fun time beating them. -
The Packers didn't look too hot. If we play a smart game and don't turn it over or have special team screwups I think we win.

No one cried for the Dolphins when:
Odie
McD
Jerry
Crowder
All were out for us, not saying we will win or lose in Green Bay, but I am saying injuries are a part of the game, which is why the snaps McQuistan and Carroll and others are getting, even on ST, matter because guys will go down with dings, pulls, concussions etc.
Did read a rumor about Penny seeing more first team snaps this week, to me if he does start it is more a case of "we need a win" than an message to Henne.
BTW..anyone know the weather forecast for this Sunday in WI? -
-
That said, we really could have used Crosby's game winning field goal. A close win by GB here would have made the spot a lot sweeter for us next Sunday. -
An overtime loss with a lot of their key players dinged up. You can't ask for a better set up, plus we're coming off the bye.
BTW-who else cringed when they saw Donald Lee's name. Man, if there only was a stat for ex-dolphin players on other teams (Patriots, Jets, Bills, KC, Cleveland, Green Bay, Jacksonville, who else?) -
Regardless of the weather or the weather report, and even if it's Lambeau, at least they're not playing in SunLife Stadium, where they sit at 0-2. Anyone wanna buy the naming rights and change that place to DeathMoon Stadium?

Is Mr. Ross friends with GWAR?

that's why you have 53 men on the roster
