It's a little stupid really. God forbid they cut back on football to make sure the school has a librarian, music class, theater or after school study programs.

I totally agree with you, except this is Highland Park and Allen we're talking about (kind of like some of those West Austin areas).
It would be nice if they helped out the rest of the state educational system with that money because the current system is horrible for 90% of the students.
I just thought it was funny how quickly an NFL team realized how serious football is here. -

Dear god man, like 10 of my friends here in Austin got into wrecks today, it even snowed. Haven't seen snow since I moved here from Michigan like 7 years ago lol.

Were sitting on about 4" of solid ice, with 9" of snow on top of it...and I think there are exactly 2 snowplows for the entire Northern 1/3 of the State...both those snowplows are starting at Jerra's death star and clearing all arteries leading directly to it for Sunday.
Which of course means, I just have to wait for the Thaw-out. -
