FOX turned over to the Panthers/Chargers game after the conclusion of Cowboys/Browns, and Carolina did what we couldn't: they mounted a comeback at the last second and scored on the final drive. Carolina wins, 26-24.

Tomlinson had a horrible game. No TDs, less than 100 yards rushing. Gates got banged up with a hip bruise, but managed to score a touchdown anyway. Looks like Carolina did a good job of shutting them down.

Folks, the Panthers might just make the NFC Championship.

Yeah they will have a good shot, but I still Cowboys as the NFC leaders. Eagles looked good too, and the winner of the Vikes/Pack will have to get strong consideration. But Carolina had a HUGE win today.

Only AFC team to really impress was Buffalo (dont see it lasting) and Pitt (yikes, they could be it). Will see what happens with Indy tonight.

Delhommes surgery looks like a success, huge boost having him back for sure.

I picked them to make the playoffs. I think if they can convert on third down and Delhomme limit his mistakes, they will be in the NFC championship.

Panthers did on their final drive what we failed to do on ours!

Yeah they will be a tough team to play no doubt. If they can stay healthy, and get Steve Smith on the field and not punching teammates they will remain solid.

Some players were wondering why Smith was suspended instead of fined, since his suspension hurts the team and not just Smith. If Smith is in that game, it goes from a last-second victory to a rout.

NFC South is actually a strong division this year. Who knew?
