Devlin really runs this style of offense well. There were a lot of RAC yards on that drive. Devlin threw the ball in the right spots to allow for this.
I actually took time out to watch college tape available on Devlin and came away very impressed. Not "This guy is an elite QB" impressed but more like "He has the potential to be a very very capable backup at worst" type impressed.
Serious question.....we know what Matt Moore can do...why not give Devlin time with the 1st or 2nd stringers?
Been watching the NFL preseason pass. i know the Miami announcers suck but it also sucks that it's been the Carolina broadcast the whole game. I thought they would split it like they did last week.
It does. I don't care about interviews with Pather's players. I wanted to know what the penalty was on the sack on Clausen.
I agree! Was thinking the same thing. Carolina announcers never even talked about the sack and facemask call that was during a sideline interview.
Well, like what I saw from Devlin for the most part but very Dolphins-esque to throw an INT in the end zone to end the game lol.
Isn't it obvious? I watch the game coldly, like a scout evaluating everything....and they suck.... I start to root and care about the outcome...and they rip my heart out, stomp on it, and set it on fire. SOOOO predictable.
Devlin might have had a chance to run it or at least go out of bounds. Bad decision although if he made a perfect throw it might have been completed. Certainly far from a perfect throw, threw it right to the defender.
