Hasn't this been the same song and dance with the Dolphins these last 12 years? This type of **** happens all the time to us.
The Dolphins postgame on radio is on 940 am. ENOUGH SAID. Somebody take this curse off of my franchise!!!!!!
Stop me if you heard this joke before....... The Dolphins go into a bar, needing a Right Guard, Right Tackle and a playmaker on offense......
Some of it didn't play either. I am worried about our pass rush outside of Wake. Sent from my Samsung Epic 4G using Tapatalk.
My notes tell me that Jake Long murdered people out there....and Thigpen, Shelby, Matthews were noticeable. Everybody else sucked.
Daniel Thomas made the most of his two touches. Spitler was all right again. PR and KR coverage units were very good.
I caught the first half on the radio and the defense sounds like it's horrible. I mean 2007 level bad. If they don't improve soon this is gonna be a very long year.
What really hurt was that sideline drop by Hogan. Tried to catch it with his forearms. The throw was spot on by Devlin.
Slaton had a wide open screen pass and didn't do anything in the open field, we don't need him imo. I saw thigpen win the returner job tonight..he has the right mentality and speed..runs thru the smoke at full speed..he's the right guy for the job Imo. Don't know why folks are giving poster JW a hard time, he's only giving his opinion.. Martin does not have the best Qb of all time anymore saving him..
Someone was mentioning Mr Thigpen... What bothers me is not a preseason loss..it is our fellas are playing like *******. And I do mean every unit...cripes, man up!
This is the very beginning of a complete rebuild, from the coaching staff on up. There's going to be a lot of consolidated garbage before we start seeing any light at the end of the tunnel.
Dansby and Wake played last week against the Bucs and the defense still played terrible. The fact is that the Dolphins have played two sub 500 teams from 2011 and the first team defense and offense have looked terrible. It may only be preseason, but I just haven't seen anything which would cause Dolphin fans to view the upcoming season in a positive manner. The only units which have played decent so far are the units made up of players who will be out of a job once the team cuts down to the final 53.
While I blame Ireland for the lack of overall talent on the team. I have also not been impressed by the job the new coaching staff has done so far. Especially the new DC, Coyle. He appears in over his head as a DC in the NFL. I have felt all along that the Dolphins defense was going to miss Nolan and nothing I have seen from this defense makes me want to reconsider this opinion. I am willing to give Philbin the benefit of the doubt for now, but he hasn't yet shown that he is an upgrade from Sparano. Right now he appears to be more the next Cam Cameron and not the next Don Shula.
