Panthers WR Dwayne Jarrett entered a not guilty plea today on charges of driving while impaired. His trial date is scheduled for June 23. The Panthers appear to have soured on Jarrett quite a bit, so he has a lot to prove both on and off the field in the next couple of years. Carolina's offseason acquisitions of Muhsin Muhammad and D.J. Hackett have buried Jarrett on the depth chart. Source: Charlotte Observer http://www.rotoworld.com/content/home_NFL.aspx
I seem to recall Steve Smith mentioning that Jarrett doesn't work hard enough last season. Not so long ago he was regarded as the best reciever in college. Hey if they cut him I would hope we are first in line to offer him a contract.
