Jeez... i just heard some crap on fax that parcells might be leaving us for the lions because wayne is selling the team and that voids his contract?!?!?!.. jeez... Hopefully thats not the case at all.

 

Not worried about a Parcells departure. He already set up this team and I trust Sparano and Ireland. Only downside to him leaving would be who from our current staff he would poach.

The talk about the clause in his contract that allows him to walk part anyways,,,, Jason Cole reported that last february..........

 

He would need to get a 3 mil per season raise to stay IMO

He is owed that 9 mil now that Wayne has sold. Ross needs to give him the 9 and give him a new contract

Huizenga was sick of losing and just made a bad business decision, after all he's just a big a fan of the Dolphins as we are , and did whatever he could to fix the team.

From the way this sounds about Bill wanting this out there now,reminds of the lil girl fit he had in New England on the Super Bowl week back in the 90's.

He's never been above being a destacion to his team late in the year if he's not happy.

Boy there are some NY types that just want to make sure to rain on the Miami Dolphins parade. Geeesh.....Parcells is not leaving....PERIOD. This is NY media trying to stir it up to make Magina and the NY GM feel the heat.

 

I see it as a 50/50 right now. With what Bill has done with this team this year I can see him getting the same deal (with a raise) from the new owner. He also miht be a bit salty after having Hunzeiga tell him that he has no plans to sell the team to his face. Parcells took this job because he got the keys to the fararri and trusted Wayne to let him do what heneeds to do. I can see him leaving if he has doubts as to whether he'll get that same treatment from the new owner.

 

I really hope he doesn't leave, but I think Ireland and Sparano have done the day to day work. As long as we keep them, I am happy.

 

This is only became news cuzzz BP told Chris Mortensen to make it news, any time you have heard Chris Mortensen talk about Bill or his teams for the past 20 years his source has always been Bill himself.

But your right Bill Parcells is a New York type and that's why the Jet's are 1st on his list.

He's never showed any loyalty to any other team so why would he start now?

 

UMM ANYWHERE! Honestly if we make it into the playoffs he can get 20 Million a year from Detroit or someone else.

He took a 1-15 team and might make them playoff bound with very little free agency signing's..

Honestly this is the worst thing for miami from a Bill perspective. With a new owner coming in the team being sold who knows what bill's ego wants..

I hope he want's to stick it to the AFC east and retire in Miami..
