n a related note, former Dolphins back Bernie Parmalee, now the tight ends coach at Notre Dame, recently made a bold comment about the Fighting Irish’s upcoming season.
“I guarantee you (Irish fans) that you won’t be disappointed this season,” Parmalee said in the Gary (Ind.) Post-Tribune. “Mark it down, we’re on a mission.”
