It was 100% pure projection based on his physical traits - not only was his tape largely unimpressive but he missed essentially the whole year before the draft for a medical issue (think he donated marrow to his sister or something). Grier took a huge gamble and lost. If we had played that draft right you could conceivably had Wirfs, Jefferson and Love. At the very least We ended up with Tua, Jackson and Iggy (another super raw guy drafted purely based on physical traits).
I'd like to see more Gordon in the second half. Put him out there on first down and see if he can pick up 6-7 yards. Tua looks fluid after the first disastrous drive he had. 9-10, he's getting the ball out and finding open receivers. Still going with his first read tho. New England hasn't taken that away and that's why he's been good today. We really need to try and run the ball though. Uptempo offense seems to be working in our favor. We had them on their heels on that last drive. Run, don't force it, keep it uptempo and we should come out with a win. If the defense can at least hold them to field goals, we should be ok. My god this defense is swiss cheese.
Joe Burrow injured. Cinci has consistently failed to provide him a quality OL and look at the result. Maybe the best pure passer and he cannot stay on the field.
Hard to get excited, when you realize that basically you're watching two bad teams struggle and play bad football against each other. Lol
That defense is tired as hell tho. It's hard for them to get off the field and then we score on a punt return and they are right back on.

This is ridiculous. This is the result of having a coach like McDaniel. That halftime interview he gave was the worst assault on my ears in a long time. He sounds stupid.
There is the Tua Turntheballova that we know.. the most unclutch qb in the league, turns the ball over at the most critical time

Well there goes the season 99.9999% probability. Fire McDaniel!! I'll still be interested in what happens up at Buffalo, but if we lose that I think it's best for this franchise to start Wilson and tank.
