I've seen a few similar Tweets and headlines over the last few weeks.
Could just be due diligence in case there's a slide but after this aggressive offseason maybe a rare trade up will happen too...

I wonder if either AFC East team (Fins/Jets) would be willing to trade with NE so they could grab a top QB. My immediate reaction would be several words I can't say here followed by "NOOOO!!!!!".
Equally interesting is that the Jags won't be there...that's a major sign that Lawrence is still #1 overall. I do think that's the right decision as well but surprised that they're not at least taking a look.tirty8 likes this. -
Like you said, if I am the Jets or the Phins, there is no way I would even answer the phone. Even if Miami or the Jets kept their pick, and drafted other positions, I could not see teams wanting to deal with NE. They are too far down in the draft to make this work.
I think the Pats are in real trouble. They just overpaid for a ton of guys, and really only got a few good players, they are not going to be able to get a QB this year, and next year is gonna be a weak QB class.
I don't see how their problems get fixed.resnor, texanphinatic and KeyFin like this. -
I believe that literally every team had people attending Wilson's pro day, so the Pats having scouts there isn't meaningful in any way.
IMO they will have a shot at like Mac Jones if they like him, but they will probably have to trade up to 7 with Detroit to do it. Failing that, it's try for Trask in round 2 or someone else later in the draft. Let Cam start the year until he gets hurt or blows, and then hope for lighting to catch. -
