For all their greatness internally as far as reloading and getting the most out of players, they sure seem to blow off NFL rules. Why do they? Because they likely know they will have little to no repercussion.

If only there was some clues or history of Belichick and the Pats cheating, maybe this wouldn't feel like a sucker punch from left field........

Right, he said he wanted to play through the injuries. However, if you look at what Talib said about his injuries with the Pats, they flat out lied. They said he had a hip issue, Talib claims he hasn't had a hip issue since he left Tampa.finyank13 likes this. -

They are not above cheating and BB has a history of mocking the injury report.
Assuming that the report is true for a moment:
BB put players on the list to manipulate his roster slots and to discipline players. What is the appropiate penalty for being guilty of those things?
Should past history be taken into account and this be considered a repeat offense? -
I always got a kick out of reading their injury reports leading up to games.

What is his motivation to lie honestly? To get back at the Patriots? I don't see it. -

I think the commissioner has a soft spot for the patriot owner Bob Kraft so he lets a lot of embarrassing things go. They should have been stripped of those SB wins after the cheating scandal. And to even destroy the tapes before other owners/media could see how bad it was is completely wrong.
