    Dave Hutchinson, of The Star-Ledger, reports the New England Patriots could consider moving up to No. 5 in the 2008 NFL Draft to pick Ohio State DL Vernon Gholston.

    Wow, this would be VERY uncharacteristic of them...but I see a trend that I like

    They are getting away from the things that made them great, and I think it all started with the FA dash they made last year.

    Now they would be trading away draft picks to move up a couple of spots...brilliant..I LOVE this actually

    Its the "win now" mentality that get teams in trouble. You're right. Stock piling picks and adding solid, non-overpaid FA's are what made them successful. How sweet would it be for them to move up and salvage draft picks for a guy who (in my mind) is potential bust material.
