Wonder who they're targeting? Tyson Jackson?

A mid-2nd rounder seems like a rather small price to move up 15 spots in the 1st round. I understand the contacts given to top 10 selections are restrictive and all, making those picks less valuable, but this proposed deal seems rather ridiculous, no?

This story is BS. There is no tighter ship in the NFL than the one run by Bellichek. What's Peter King's source? A barrista at the Foxboro Starbucks!??!

Could it be possible that this would only be the first of two deals, with the goal of moving into the Top 4 and landing someone like Aaron Curry? -
This time I actually read King's article.

They did move up last year to get Jarod Mayo...
I have a feeling they are eyeing B.J. Raji... They could use him in a 3-4 rotation and then have him replace Vince Wilfork next season because Wilfork is a Free Agent and said he wouldn't be back if he didn't have a new contract extension.
A small part of me is wondering if they want Sanchez, but I doubt it. -

If its a surprise then I say one of the Tier 1 Runningbacks.
I heard its likely a OT a Guy like Andre Smith or Oher. -

I think Brian Cusing could be the dark horse here. ;)

The best part of all this is Peter King will come out and say it was a "genius move to trade up to get the player they want" even though he called them geniuses for NOT wanting a higher draft pick in return for Matt Cassel because of the extra cost of higher draft picks.
Pete King is a donkey. -

Why would they trade up, the Pats are in an awesome position in the draft. If they stand pat they have tons of early picks to build up an aging team. They might trade down and get even younger but I would doubt they want to trade up unless some team is willing to just throw the pick away for next to nothing.
