Just wanted to vent outloud over the Ravens GIVING the Pats 7 points. Are you kidding me that they did not challenge that????? I don't want to hear that they couldn't see it either. your staff upstairs is for that. They should all be fired right now for missing that. Inexcusable. I had just told my wife prior to that happening the 24-0 means nothing against these weasels and walla!
Pass interference against the Pats takes a way a big first down. Yeah, Goodell and the refs want to give the Pats everything.
I have a feeling theres gonna be a lot of disgruntled wide receivers available this offseason...Marshall..Moss..Ocho..Owens..Boldin.. Which one would ya'll take???
Yeah, because they're just not going to call anything on the Pats. I don't care what anyone says. There is no way it's coincidental that New England always finds a major break like the one they got on that "recovered" fumble. Every time that team falls behind in an important game... SOMETHING GIVES.
great run on 3rd and 2. shows the importance of having a strong enough run game that when the defense knows yyou are going to run you are still able to run. expecially in january
The last qtr of the nfl season has shown that Buddy Ryan's ideas are alive and well in the NFL: 1. Browns finish with a 4 game winning streak once Mangini took the leash off of Rob Ryan 2. Sexy Rexy won a playoff game on the strength of the D 3. Ravens are destroying the patriots in Foxboro. Attacking, blitzing defenses seem to be the cure for high powered offenses. The other thing those three teams have in common is good to great Safety play, the Brown's Safety play actually improved when Furrey the Wr played Safety... Hmm..Evan Thomas sounds like a good addition at the moment, that is pre Combine.
Well this makes the football weekend well worth it. I love nothing more than seeing a constantly overrated team this year getting shown for what they really are...an aging declining team. The Pats are still a playoff caliber team but being considered the best thing ever each year is not really a reality anymore. The team is simply overrated now. Now getting to see the Jets travel to SD next week will be great as the Jets will probably get ran out of the stadium and the Colts will have their hands full with this Ravens team (remember a full strength Colts barely beat the Ravens earlier this year). I won't say the Pats can't come back because they are the Pats but it looks like there will only be one more week until the Jets also join the Pats as out of the playoff mix....at least I hope because the Jets scare me at how dangerous they are.
Maybe so Padre, but I'd still rather have McClain. You see what a great LB does for a defense in Ray Ray. Maybe McClain could be that for us? Assuming of course he declares.
We've got our bruiser in Loussaka. McClain more of a fullback (granted, with above average speed for a FB) anyway.
