well, they do tend to draft QBs and OL fairly well, so Mallett ranking 3rd and Pouncey 1st in their respective categories makes me feel better about my two choices for our #15 pick. Now if by some miracle we get Mallett in early 3rd, I'll consider this our best draft in recent memory.
that was the fake one most likely, the Pats are like the Pentagon, if they want something released they will let it be.....if not you arent seeing it....oh and they will most likely have 3 1st rounders for next year.....simply amazing... Surprising they have Jordan ranked higher than Soder, and they still took Soder, and had a bigger need in the guy that rated out higher to them?
We’ve gotten several e-mails today regarding a video from our buddy/corporate brother Tom Curran of CSNNE.com. The segment, based on Patriots V.P. of player personnel Nick Caserio’s Thursday draft chat with the media, pans beginning at roughly 29 seconds what appears to be the team’s draft board, complete with rankings and scores for multiple positions. Curran told PFT via phone on Friday night that the draft board shown wasn’t the Patriots’ actual draft board. Instead, it’s a dummy board put together by the guys from Patriots Football Weekly for demonstration purposes. We’re amazed, frankly, that anyone would think that uber-secretive Patriots would allow anyone to see their draft board, let alone take a slow, rolling video image of it. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/04/15/pats-didnt-disclose-their-draft-board-to-the-media/
Bull****, it's the ****ing board. It just so happens Solder has this fantastic grade the level of Julio Jones? By the way that would mean Kendricks is a third rounder or so according to them, Williams is similar. If they had just shown the running backs.
I don't know Jaj, I remember they put together a really similar board when Nick Caserio held the Introduction to the Draft meeting with the media a couple weeks ago. It was a fake board.
