The Pats aren't known for being big spenders in FA. They usually avoid the big names. Biggest name I can think of is Adailus Thomas a few years back, and that bit them in the ***.

 

New England or Peppers agent is floating that.

 

I think the players know that the pats days are all down hill from here. There dynasty is crumbling and players are always looking for the next team on the rise.

Good players only join falling teams for the $$$$$$$$$.

 

According to Chicago media Peppers signing with the Bears is just about a done deal.
