http://dolphinsindepth.blogspot.com/2008/05/paul-soliai-under-microscope-in-year.html One would think Paul Soliai has a great NFL future before him. He is 6-4. He weighs 344 pounds. The Dolphins thought enough of him to draft him in the fourth round last year. But if the team knew then what it learned once he got to Miami, that fourth round pick would have been used on someone else.
I think we get rid of his lazy arse. The new guys we brought in are going to be hungrier than Soliai and I suspect he won't even make it to the final cuts. Hes a prime guy for these guys to cut...a fourth round draft pick. A guy with some experience. They will make an example out of him in a heartbeat. And it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.
Wow, that's too bad. I was really hoping that he would turn into a solid player for us. I guess this might be one more example that size isn't more important than heart and hard work..
Yeah, me too. I had high hopes for the guy. I still hope he figures it out and comes out in TC on a mission to prove himself. He's so big that his potential is sky high. IF he decides that he wants to play football in the NFL.
Exactly. He had a 2nd round grade on some draft sites. I remember his attitude and conditioning were questioned even then. Hopefully Parcells and Co. can get the most out of him, otherwise I don't see him even making it to August.
Never really knew that about the guy. He definately better get working or he's going to find himself looking for another job.
