If you don't cancel your subscription for many other sites it will most likely renew automatically . So here is how you do you check and cancel it.
PayPal members may cancel individual subscribers from their transaction
history. Your subscribers may also cancel their subscriptions by following
the steps below. A subscription can be canceled up until the day of the next
scheduled payment.
Here's How:
1. Click the My Account tab.
2. Click the History tab.
3. Click the Details of the subscription in question.
4. Click Cancel Subscription.
5. You have successfully canceled the subscriber's subscription.
In simpler terms go to your Paypal account
edit profile..click under pay history...cancel auto renewal
Many members were upset that we were automatically renewing their subscriptions. We have no control over your paypal account.
Over there it was set up so it defaulted to an auto renewal status
We are set up differently. It has to be renewed manually or you may find your subscription expired and your club access denied automatically.

hmmm, realizing I'm going to look like an idiot here, but if there is not subscription auto renewal visible, I don't have auto renewal, correct? I truly don't remember how I initially set it up.

thanks, my subscription wasn't going to renew til october but i would have probably forgotten
-
They tried to renew mine last week, but it didn't go through. I thought it was supposed to be extended by a couple of months due to the crash but I guess not. Either way, I just formally cancelled my paypal relationship with them. Thanks for the info.

Just so long as it isnt any of that "Frumundah" cheeze I keep hearing about... -
I didn't do anything, my renewal was due in April, I got an email from paypal saying my renewal was cancelled and I don't know how?
-
Thanks CrunchTime I just took care of that little problem. :wink2:

of course, i'm not setup on auto-renewal on Supa Tek either..... so i hope i'll get a warning before they cut me off here. -
It is on the other site.It will renew unless you noticed that feature in your original subscription and unchecked it.
Hollis situation is different because she is a Luxury Box member which is done manually.
The auto renewal only applied on the other site when you sent an exact payment i.e. 36 dollars for the subscription.
On this site when you send in 24 doll for a yrs subscription or 15 doll for 6 months subscription it will automatically give you access to club level but it will not renew automatically.
Any other amount will have to be entered manually.Thats my job plus installing the corresponding badges :wink2:
Your access to club level on here will automatically be removed when the expiration date occurs so if you dont remember the date you could find yourself without access.
There is a simple solution to that.Just renew manually but at least you wont make a payment you dont want to make or that you are not aware that you are making.
PS.The above only applies to Paypal payments
PSS.If the above still confuses you suffice it to say there is no automatic renewals on hereCeltkin and texasPHINSfan like this. -
wow... ok maybe i'm a moron but you actually just made it more confusing. well, i understand that THIS site isn't on auto renewal (which is a shame, b/c if there WAS one i would want on that, its this one ;) ), but according to paypal, i was apparently not on auto-renewal with FH.
oh well, i guess we'll find out. -
How do I cancel payment to them again?

thanks for the heads up. I thought I was sure I never had a subscription but I followed your steps, and lo and behold, I sure did.
