He couldn't be worse than anyone else they threw out there minus Lester. Personally I'd love for them to resign Pedro and have him come back and pitch a few meaningless games in September but realistically I don't think he's got anything else left in the tank nor could he consistently get AL hitters out.
I'm sure he can still hit 85, but with every pitcher it's all about location and command before velocity. If he still has a plus curve and change he might be able to get through a line up once, then all bets are off.
