Looking forward to this game! Rootin for State Pen....err Penn State to win this one. Pryor is my boy though, too bad he's a damn Buckeye. Alabama vs Tennessee could be a blowout but Eric Berry is expected to play some offense and there's always Terrence Cody to watch. Damn, some good prospects for the draft today and tonight on TV. Vontae Davis earlier today now Cody, Berry, Jenkins, Lauranitis, Wells and others. :woot:

Nope. I watched only the first half and they never even looked his way, Illinois left him on an island. It was ridiculous. He played so well though. In run support, he was in on every play. He's going to be a very good one.

Is Terrance Cody out tonight? I don't see him.

EDIT: Chapman is starting in place of Cody. Damnit!

I'm torn between him and Jenkins right now man. Both are very good. I think Jenkins lack of elite/top speed may put him a notch below Davis but Jenkins seems to use his hands better than Davis. Davis always plays loose coverage where as Jenkins mixes it up. Today, I saw Davis up at the LOS once and he tried to jam the WR and the WR just moved Davis' hands aside and continued with his route. I can't complain if we get either of them though.

Man if I have to go another game without the ball thrown to a premier CB, I'm going to go insane. First Vontae Davis doesn't see a ball his way all day and now this past drive, Jenkins didn't see anything his way.

I don't see how they didn't call holding against the RT on that last 3rd down. he was grabbing Maybin from behind.

Ugly game so far, no offense. We started slow last week though, so maybe we pick it up here soon.

A defensive battle but a good game for sure. Malcolm Jenkins hasn't seen a ball his way yet unless I missed something. However, at the 3:45 mark in the 2nd quarter, he bid on a play action and Derrick Williams went across the middle open which eventually opened up a down field pass. He's been pretty physical out there. Watching today, I think Jenkins uses his hands better at the LOS than (Vontae) Davis. Davis didn't spend much time jamming WR's today though.

I was watching the end opposite of Ohio State's Left Tackle and kept thinking it was Aaron Maybin until I saw it was number #49. :pity:

He didn't do that great locking up Eric Decker from Minnesota. Partly because Eric Decker is their only threat

I didn't watch the game but I'm looking at Decker's game log and he had a good game. What did Davis do wrong?

The long pass to Zug, it was Butler who went across the middle. DW actually fell down in the backfield on that play.

Davis was on him pretty much all game and Minny had no problem finding Decker. But Davis looked like he was on him like glue ATC.

Can someone teach Pryor how to not throw rainbows? And can someone teach Penn state how to break on a pass?

Wow Penn St is playing the rush very very well. Their controlling the LOS giving Ohio St Oline no push at all. I don't even think a healthy Beanie could rush through this.

Yea, this game is over it seems. We can't stop their drives soon enough, and we only moved the ball effectively a few times.
