LT shouldn't have won it either -- Michael Turner had 112 more yards rushing than he did. And how many chances is Michael Bush (177 yards rushing) going to get to win POTW? How many times has LT already won it? Yeah, it was a big game and all, but the Broncos defense is as bad as it gets.

I'm not debating whether it's right or wrong, just that it's a weekly award not a yearly one.
Also if Bush is as skilled as that performance indicates, and he very well may be, then he will get plenty of chances to win player of the week.
