The Panthers gave defensive end Julius Peppers some work on the right side in Friday's mini-camp session.
Peppers has spent his career playing the left side, but the Panthers are at least thinking about moving him. This is interesting because coach John Fox was so insistent upon playing Peppers on the left side when he entered the league. Fox's logic at that time was that he had coached New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan on that side. Also part of the thinking was the fact that Peppers would go up against right tackles, who usually aren't as strong in pass blocking as left tackles.
