The real question is, when coming up with the name you did and considering you spelled it wrong anyway, why not go for the brass ring and use Nathanal?

Really enjoy the podcast. Chris and Sam work off each other really well. I anticipate that I'll listen to it all year long. Thanks guys.

Criticism: Sam should be Sam and Chris should be Chris. Sam's the potty-mouth smart-ass and Chris is the expert. In the last episode, Chris dropped some unnecessary f-bombs and it sounded weird.

Keep on keeping on!

Tanking is like taking a Greyhound bus cross-country. Sure, it may eventually get you where you want to go, but it’s messy and unpleasant and uncomfortable, it stinks, the entire time you’ll be wishing you weren’t there, and not everybody along for the ride is going to make it to the end. - Quote stolen from Deadspin

I am not sure we have ever defined our roles as such, other than two fans who try to talk about the team and game as we would with other, like-minded fans.

But noted.

Chris, quit swearing so ****ing much, you *******. Be more expert like...you ****.

Also, thanks for listening Gardenhead. The show is a lot of fun to produce and put out. Lots of great feedback and ideas from the listeners.

I don't mind cursing. All I'm saying is that I like the dynamic of the straight man with the goofy dude. It's a tried and true combo and it works. Defined roles, unless they're forced, should do you well. Chris clearly has an air of authority to him and you're the clown. You're a knowledgeable clown, but still a clown. You amuse me. My advice is to run with that dynamic.

"A Knowledgeable Clown" is the name of my next comedy album. It will replace the working title of "Not Famous Enough To Hate"

I washed my nuts this morning listening to Sam and Chris. Good show, dudes.

Thanks for the shout out. I laughed out loud with the jokes about repeating yourself. Low hanging fruit, for sure, but you hit the mark.

Episode 28 is up! Chris and I discuss the Seattle game as well as who we thought was the worst player ever from that affair. We also run down the injuries to both AFC East squads ahead of week 2, and make our ridiculous predictions for Miami vs. New England.

Gentlemen:

I love your show, but I stopped listening cause we suck. Its too depressing to spend more than 4 hours of brain-time a week on this pathetic team. Keep up the good work, and if your numbers are dropping, rest assured this ex-listener isn't listening because of the team's performance, not yours.

Love,
Gardenhead

I don't blame you. I was talking to Sam about a sister podcast we're working on doing with Perfectville and it, and my blogs are getting harder and harder to write. It's crazy how much more enjoyable the NFL is when the Dolphins are in the mix.

Alas, we soldier on. If you get bored on your next commute, Sam and I have a show that will be up tomorrow and then he and Chris will have the Titans preview up later this week.

Oh, to be relevant....

New podcast is up. Travis Wingfield and I discuss what went wrong (everything) against The Bengals last week, and how, if at all, the team fixes it. Plus, should Tannehill be traded to Chicago for Cutler? And who were the worst players ever for week 4? Find out on the show!

New podcast is up (TWO this week!) as Chris returns to discuss the Titans game, Jarvis Landry's attitude and attempts to name all of the starting QB's that have come after Marino, off the top of his head.

Week 6 preview is up. Plus...Chris and I discuss athlete's dongs...for reals.

This is what happens when your team is bad and you want to talk about anything other than the O-Line.
